Week 8 Reflections: Looking Back

Portfolio Guide

Alice and Rabbit in Eden is by far what I have loved the most about this semester. I have learned how to be creative much more and performed on a higher level in my daily writing. This story started out truly as a joke. I thought it was not going to work. I took an idea though and just went with what I though was funny. As a result, I have now set up a series of time traveling stories, which I believe are some of the most fun pieces I have ever written. I encourage you to go to my portfolio guide at the top and see the next story! It is called finding Beowulf. I promise it is worth your time!

I have figured out what schedule works for me even though it is daily work. I have no other option, but to do it daily since I work everyday and weekends. I also have class every morning and night. I have successfully made it through though!

I have really enjoyed working with the class also! Everyone has been extremely helpful and I have taken their comments to heart applying them to my writing.

Overall I am in a great place this semester at this point!

  1. Hey Ben!
I read your story Alice and Rabbit in Eden in your portfolio and I thought it was really good! I loved how creative was and it made me want to try something more creative with the next story I write! I know the feeling of not knowing if a story concept is going to work when I start writing, and mine turned into my storybook!
